Base fitting for Saturninus’s Jacket for the Titus Andronica. Made from Bed sheets and torn curtains. This was just the fitting so it’s not hemmed or ironed yet.
Man, this guy, I just want to take him home and keep him forever. LOL. I love me some Power Hungry, tall and beautiful tyrants. <3 Watching him do his lines last night, I couldn’t keep myself was staring into his eyes, and I don’t even really like watching plays. The more I see from his guy, and everyone else in the cast is, this is going to be AMAZING!!
As always I made this! www.shinshayoriginals.com for more
Saterninus Jacket, Work in Progress. Inspired by Deckard’s Coat from Blade runner. For #thelastactheatercompany ‘s preformance of Titus Andraonica
I’m a bit sweaty, but trying to remain cool at last night’s RAW Artist showcase! I was there to help represent the Last Act Theater Company’s upcoming preform, Titus Andronica. I am the Costume designer so I bought a few things to show too.
Today I was given the honor of being the Head Designer for Titus Andronica being put on by The Last Act theater company, here in Austin. This in an incredibly ballsy play, I’m so delighted to get to be the costume designer for it too. I’ve always liked Shakespeare, but this play is above and beyond all of his other works, IMO, for R rated content. Not only that but closing night is Oct 30th. One day before my big day. It’s going to be a Crazy Few weeks. Since we’re still 2-3 weeks from having actors for me to measure I’m going to spend this time working my finger to the bone on all these wedding costumes sot hey can be finished by the time I get to start sewing for Titus.
On Top of that Texas Musume is bringing me on as their seamstress and designer. This may mean I’ll get to go to conventions with them as well (and I always like going to more conventions!)
Tomorrow I should have a new tutorial up with how to build your own dress form, then how to do your first draping to create a fabric cover for it.
Later this week I will have a Tutorial on draping a princess seam bodice on your new dress form! ooo!
Plus FIVE legend of Zelda costumes! And a Fancy dress party!
Here is a picture of my kitten to tide you over till then!

So there is also of exciting stuff going on in the near future, and this is where you need to be to see it!
Much love and Aloha,
me.
